Saw a Tui up in the trees 1 hour into our walk from Marahau to Anchorage, heading North

Rats infested Brown's hut.

We seen a duck with a damaged leg at anchorage today, not too far from the hut on the beach, it looked like it was in a lot of pain and was very hard for it to walk on, just thought i would let you know.

Banded dotterel on Awaroa beach

A very tired rat came out of the surf at Goat Bay. It is now deceased and the surf took it away

Seen around 6pm in the short walk of
Hawkes lookout point, near a self contained parking, I know they are invasive so I would like to report it.

A possum tore a hole through my tent at the Mutton Cove campsite. There were about five I saw in total
