Robin/Kakaruai or Toutouwai

Seen on the Cascade Falls/Falls River track, near falls river pools

1 hour south of Barks Bay

At the beginning of the track to Split Apple Rock from the car park. We saw one robin when we started to go down. When we came back at 12:00 there were three more. A pity we didn't take pictures, we didn't know they were rare. They acted very friendly.

At the beginning of the trail when leaving Tinline Camp site to Anchorage.
