All around the picnic areas near Medlands, TongaQuarry, Onetahuti, Awaroa, Meadowbank, Totaranui, Torrent Bay, Anchorage, Appletree bay, Marahau and above Observation beach. Also in the forest.

Seen near start of abel tasman walk in Marahau

Saw 1 pāteke in the grassbeds in the inner part of Bark Bay. Can provide images via email if needed, the app doesn't seem to want to attach them :)

Seen close to Cleopatra's Pool (Abel Tasman track) on 13th Dec

Fairly certain we saw a pair of pateke on the Venture Creek side of the Awaroa Inlet by the hangar/train steps. Very exciting!

Saw 2 brown teal at fslls river paddling in. One had a blue band one had none. Think it was a mating pair.
