Just outside Bark Bay campsite and just before the swing bridge on the loop which avoids the estury crossing

2 seen just past Bark Bay Hut

2 seen near sign at bark bay DOC hut

Three Kaka sighted at 16 Manuka Street at 6am. Additional calls heard in several other locations in the township/directions. A srong peak of calling about 6:30am. No birds seen flying and calling ceased by 7am.

Watched kaka pecking at bark in Cyathea Cove above bach

Bark bay hut, it was interacting with us while filling waterbottles at the drinking station.
