A mob of 8 followed by another 5 flew past bark bay just below the line of dead pines.

3 kaka observed feeding right in the bark bay campground both at dusk on fri 15th and higher up on just after dawn on sat 16th

A pair sighted close to Bark Bay (Abel Tasman track) on 12th Dec. Within 6m!

It flew away before I could get camera

Feeding close to the track on a burnt stamp of a tree, had no visible marking

Three Kaka getting with their business ( looks like there's a bit of mating going on. Location is between Sandfly Bay and Waterfall Creek.
