Seemingly sick little blue penguin on the beach at Tonga Quarry. Watched it from afar for a while and it never moved, so investigated closer and it seems sick/injured as it is not even attempting to move when I got closer :( Some open shellfish directly in front of it, but I dont know if that's related

Three Kaka getting with their business ( looks like there's a bit of mating going on. Location is between Sandfly Bay and Waterfall Creek.

About 30min or an hour walking from Marahau toward the Inland Track

3 x kaka flew from a southern direction towards Kaka Point lookout, scraking & came 2 rest in the large eucalyptus trees at Kaka Point overlooking Kaiteriteri beach for a few minutes before taking flight again in a Southerly direction.
