The path leading to Observation Beach

We seen a duck with a damaged leg at anchorage today, not too far from the hut on the beach, it looked like it was in a lot of pain and was very hard for it to walk on, just thought i would let you know.

We saw the Kaka sitting in a tree some meters off the Abel Tasman Track, but before I could get my camera ready, the Kaka took off an flew away

Hear a growling call from a large dark flying bird around the area of halfway pool on the Abel Tasman trail heading toward Anchorage/Torant Bay
