On the Gold Creek loop (No gps service)

Group of four kea @ Bark Bay Hut. The one that came closest had red band on its right leg, grey band on its left (and a transmitter on its back?)

About 100m from Bark bay hut.

Approx 5 min walk from Bark Bay camp site heading north, before turn off to low tide route to Onetahuti.

2 of them. Flying between trees close to the hut in Bark Bay.

One Kaka seen flying inland at Bark Bay camp: distinguished by dark red under wing.

Seen today, 15 Nov 2019, at Bark Bay on our way to the suspension bridge - this was around 5 mins from when we started walking from Bark Bay camp site. Time stamp on my phone shows 11:15am. There were 2 kakas but was only able to take a photo of one.

We have saw him near Medlans Beach. On the walkway.

A pair seen down the Wainui Valley between trap boxes 104&103 on Sun 27/10/18

We were checking rat traps between Torrent and Bark Bay; between traps 34 and 35. Spotted 4 kaka in one location, possibly heard a 5th. Trapper Mark Lasenby has photo/video.
