Spotted multiple kaka on approach to Bark Hut from Anchorage

Kaka with blue ring sighted between Sandfly Bay and Frenchman Bay. Calling to second kaka that was heard but not seen

The kaka was close to Bark Bay, on the way up in the direction of Awaroa

A very tired rat came out of the surf at Goat Bay. It is now deceased and the surf took it away

Viewed in the trees by the Bark Bay hut. I'm unable to upload the picture I took on my phone's camera app into this app via the photo library button. When I press that button, my android pixel 5a flashes as though it's going to open the photo library but then no photos are shown

Anchorage helicopter pad

We saw many wekas (over 10) at the coast track and beaches, including at least 4 chicks.
