Walking from onetahuti to awaroa spotted on foot bridge 4:44pm

Anchorage Beach. A kākā flew straight across the full length of the beach, coming from the southern direction heading north.

Four individuals sighted along the ATCT between Marahau and Anchorage. Numerous at Anchorage Hut and Camp

We visited the wainui falls, and on the river on the way out we saw a pair of Whio on the wainui river in mid-river, swimming and foraging.

Observed on track near Cascades Falls

A pair observed calling when crossing Torrent Bay estuary at low tide - flying southward towards the track junction from Anchorage Hut.
