Between Barks Bay and Mosquito bay, on the steep part of the track up

Bark Bay campsite. Bunch of kākā (5?) flww in to camp from the hills and hug around for a couple of hours.

we border abel tasman had lightening strike of large beech in remote area i went to investigate what looked like mistletoe had fallen with beech branches, still growing on ground too. no flowers at that point ill go and investigate again
