Weka in Wainui carpark. Weka seen from Whariwharangi to Anchorage at camp sites. Also seen just along Porters beach.

Everywhere on sand spit at Barks Bay. Great work!! One very loud bird with orange leg band seemed to be squadron leader

Seen on site at awaroa lodge. Very curious and not afraid to come close to people.

Seen 3 today at the Tinline camp. One appeared to have an injured foot.

At the beginning of the track to Split Apple Rock from the car park. We saw one robin when we started to go down. When we came back at 12:00 there were three more. A pity we didn't take pictures, we didn't know they were rare. They acted very friendly.
