Awaroa high track; Track to Bark Bay

Just leaving Torrent Bay towards Anchorage on the high tide route. Also on the last km or so before Anchorage on the same route.

I had found a beautiful baby weka between Maūka grove and Stu’s look out. The bird had been minding its own business and right next to the track and coming up right to our feet. Frankly I had no camera to take photos!

Saw three piglets on the coast track on the way to Mutton Cove yesterday. Didnt manage to get a photo in time.
